The Sitka Apartments

1. We designed a complete marketing package for a new "work-force housing" apartment building in Portland's Pearl District, including this logo. The logo reflects the building's urban location as well as its natural appeal to young, creative people.

2. Our client wanted to convey a number of ideas in his materials, including: the use of sustainable practices in both constructing and marketing the building; the Sitka's favorable comparison to neighboring market-rate buildings; and a broad range of amenities, most notably, free hard-wired Internet access in each apartment. In response, we created a visually appealing brochure / plan folder, plan inserts, and a marketing flyer for the building highlighting these major themes. The brochures were printed with soy-based ink on recycled paper. The free Internet service features prominently on the flyer.

3. We created a set of correspondence documents for the Sitka's leasing staff to use, including business cards, letterhead, envelopes, mailing labels, and thank you notes.

4. We designed an extensive web site for the Sitka, including descriptions and plans for each unit type, extensive information on the neighborhood and the building itself, and an area to provide information to existing tenants.

5. We designed and coordinated the production of a complete permanent exterior sign package including the leasing office blade sign (pictured) and signs for the common entries and individual ground floor apartments.

6. SRM designed an temporary exterior sign package, including this a-board sign for the leasing office.

7. The Central City Streetcar stops at the Sitka; we designed an advertisement for the streetcar shelter at the stop.
